Post subject: The connection to the Crysis 3 server has been lost [...] Posted: 02 01, 2013 /05:44 |

"The connection to the Crysis 3 server has been lost or cannot be established. You are being returned to the main menu."
There are only 2 other posts with this problem I saw and only reposting because no one on either posts provided any help.
>>>On another computer on the same network I am able to connect to the servers but that computer is not as powerful as this one.
Specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz (Turbo up to 2.9GHz) RAM 12GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M 3GB Directx 11 Internet Speed 10/1 mbps
So I know my computer can run Crysis 3 just fine. I have enabled UPnP, and port forwarding, and running the game as admin. I have also repaired check the game, there was nothing wrong, and I have uninstalled and re-installed the game.
If there is an error, then it is not on my side.
Also as a side note, I have to manually alt+tab or alt+f4 to quit the application. There are no options to quit.

This error or whatever happens on the main screen after hitting enter. Have not reached the login screen at all. System Specs: P8Z68 Deluxe Gen3 (Asus) 16GB Kingston Hyper-X Ram Gigabyte OC 670 SLI Intel 2500K (Clocked at 4.2Ghz) 1000w PSU Coolermaster Gold 120GB SSD (Games installed on) Yeah the no quit option is pretty damn annoying

I have had similar problems. I solved them by turning off the SSDP Discovery service (which disables uPnP) I also have uPnP turned off on my router. All good now.
If you don't know how on windows 7 (should be the same for 8 as well but I am not sure)
Search for 'Services' open the program whose icon is the two gears scroll down to 'SSDP Discovery' Click on it the select 'Stop the Service'
SSDP Discovery will restart when you restart your PC so you may have to do this everytime you do.

I followed these recommandations (Services on Windows 7 and disable UpnP on my router) but it doesn't work :(
